<p>Yesterday I attended my second IEP event, in Manchester. Again it was very well attended and I took a lot away from it. Its encouraging to see so many employability professionals joining the Institute and I look forward to seeing it grow as an industry body. As specialist recruiters within the sector, I feel that the qualification offered is of huge benefit to employees and should be promoted. Its certainly something we will look for in candidates that register with us.</p>
<p>The venue for the event was stunning. With a keen interest in architecture I was really impressed that The Monastery were able to accommodate us and even give us a tour of the fantastic building. It was lovely to be shown around and hear the history.</p>
<p>Overall a memorable event; a great afternoon spent with fellow employability professionals that share integrity and ethics.</p>
<p>I look forward to attending more in the future.</p>

<p>Taylor Herrick Recruitment are proud members of the IEP. Our commitment to sustainable employment and ethical recruitment is reinforced by this.</p>
<p>We recently attended the Birmingham IEP event, hosted by PPDG. It was well worth attending as we got to meet several fellow industry professionals. Part of the event included time spent sharing ideas about how the IEP can benefit employability professionals with the qualification they deliver. This is something that we feel adds huge value to employability professionals and we will encourage those that register with us to acknowledge the benefits of taking the qualification. We certainly feel it raises the standard.</p>
<p>In addition there was time to share best practice across contract delivery within the sector. The key themes seemed to be Quality and Ethics; values which we believe strongly in and work hard to maintain as a business and individuals.</p>
<p>I have included the report below for those that couldn’t attend. Look forward to meeting some of you at the Manchester event next week.</p>

<p>I hope your January is going well? The year has got off to a busy start as I have been given several enticing opportunities to work on. I’m working with organisations across the Midlands and North West to support their recruitment.</p>
<p>Over the coming weeks I am going to be looking for architecture, interiors and engineering professionals for positions with growing house builders and design firms.</p>
<p>These roles all come with great potential for progression. Each opportunity is associated with business growth and project wins which makes for a positive career move.</p>
